If We've Lost Cleveland...

I gather that this is a spin-off of Family Guy. Going after the much-coveted "living in Mom's basement" demographic?

Seth MacFarlane had a ticket for Flight 11.

Flight 11 landed in Cleveland.

Connect the dots, man.

Truthers are gonna cream themselves over this one!

Of course, truthers are out there hailing this as a victory, and TEH TWOOF IS COMIN OUTTTTTT!!!!!11!!1! An off-hand statement by a fictional animated character on what is ostensibly a comedy show... so, when can we expect Fictional Characters for 9/11 Truth.com with Cleveland and Daniel Sunjata's Rescue Me character?

I say "ostensibly" a comedy show because the Cleveland Show is quite possibly the most unfunny comedy show on the air today. I haven't laughed at any of the episodes I've watched.

At best this is CYA stuff, nothing that bolsters MIHOP or even LIHOP. Even if true, there is the minor inconvenient excerpt.

However, It still isn't clear how -- or whether -- the information on Atta could have been used to the disrupt the Sept. 11 attacks.

Not that any of that would stop twoofers from getting all worked up. "Victories" are pretty hard to come by for those morons, so they'll take what they can get.

Somebody at 9/11 blogger comments,-
"A lot of people know about 9/11, and they are in every walk of life."

That reminds me of of Donald Sutherland at the end of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, when he does that weird scream.

Someone else says, "Our numbers are growing exponentially, we are getting smarter, and we are not going away!"

Christ, maybe they really are pod people.

I thought I remember MacFarlane saying he missed his flight on 9-11. He doesn't seem like a nutcase, this seems more like a joke.
Since that's what Truthers are, a big joke.

Never mind 9/11, when did Julia Roberts die?

Come on Pat, this is clearly a joke. Seth is an athiest and rational thinker in general. This is actually another nail in the truther coffin in that the joke is so obviously making fun of truthers that it doesnt need to be explained.

revid,

I get what you are saying, but since when does believing in a Higher power equate with believing in conspiracy theories?

I can find an atheist that believes 9/11 is an inside job. If I had to guess, Jason Bermas isn't an altar boy. Richard Gage isn't a bishop. Nor, is Kevin Ryan a deacon.

Yeah, I expect there are a number of people who make the faulty inference that:

The Tooth Fairy turned out to be grown-ups playing tricks on me.

Father Christmas (AKA Santa Claus) turned out to be grown-ups playing tricks on me.

God turned out to be grown-ups playing tricks on me.

Therefore: Earthquakes, terrorist attacks, "accidents" are just grown-ups playing tricks on me.
