All Of Thems are Disinfo!

For some bizarre reason I am on the ae911truth mailing list, so this morning I got an e-mail asking people to call up members of the New York City council and read off this script regarding how WTC7 was blown up by the illuminati using supermagiconanothermite and all. That was pretty routine, but I was especially amused by this warning midway through:

As always, two simple rules for participating in this campaign:

1) Talk only about World Trade Center Building 7, do not mention Misprision of Treason as we are not using such heavy handed tactics, but a friendlier approach with the City Council

2) Be courteous and respectful

Each morning NYC CAN informs the council members’ offices that anyone who is disrespectful, or who mentions other aspects of 9/11, is trying to sabotage the legitimate call for a proper investigation into the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. And to ensure that opponents of truth do not undermine our effort, we will need each and every one of you to get involved and drown out their vitriolic voice with courtesy, clarity and honesty.

Hello! Disinfo? This is the majority of morons that make up your so-called movement, including I would imagine many of the people who signed your petition. How screwed up is your movement when you have to call up people you are trying to influence, and as a matter of routine, tell them not to listen to other members of the movement, because you think they are "saboteurs"?

Yes, if you're an idiot.

You see, normal people (i.e. sane) already know the truthers need no help whatsoever in looking like total, utter, tin-foil hat-wearing fuckwits.

So, fires, creaking noises, pictures of gaping holes, lots of smoke, and a 110-story building falling on it, aren't enough to answer what happened to building 7?

At 25 March, 2010 22:28, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Billman, no they're not. 'Cause for asymmetrical damage from holes and fires to cause total symmetrical collapse is downright bizarre.

Plus you've got the problem of the mechanism -- NIST claims 600 foot perimeter columns had all their floors stripped off them, showing no sign whatsoever and stood unperturbed and then collapsed from the bottom up with virtually no distortion. That's uncanny.

The movement has no credibility because it has no evidence to back up its insane assertions. Kevin Barrett, William Rodriguez and others are just a bonus.

The fact that nuts are associated with your movement is not a bug, it's a feature. What amuses those of us who are sane is the notion that Richard Gage is not a nut. Heck, even his wife recognized that he'd lost his mind.

Dear Anonymous,

And you know this. That's why you just love this Thuther crap.

Getting into this truther nonsense does not make you intellectually superior, it does not elevate you, it doesn't make you significant or intelligent.

You see, those that actually ARE knowledgable, intelligent and sane are able to see through your transparent nonsense and see you for what you are: a looser.

There are so many disinfo agents obviously in the pay of the NWO. Alex Jones is clearly too much of a foaming nutter to be genuine. Jason Bermas is not far behind, believing in every conspiracy theory under the sun. His loutish and obnoxious behaviour calling everyone "LIAAAARRRRS!!!" on any TV or radio station that will have him has clearly been an excellent way to discredit the Truthers.

Then there is Dylan "I'm so fucking radical, dude!" Avery who is a brilliant parody of a Truther but just a tad too petulant to be believable.

Steven Jones, the nutty professor was doing well in the disinfo department but the Jesus goes to South America, HAARP speculation etc... just completely blew his cover. Even a lot of Truthers now know he's an NWO infiltrator and it takes a lot to insult their intelligence!

Richard Gage's boxes, David Ray Griffin's senile performances and Thierry Meysan's quote-mining and Eric Hufshmid's Holocaust denying should really have discredited the whole movement years ago but remarkably those NWO agents have become popular members in the Truth Movement.

In fact, it is almost as if no one can be nutty enough to discredit the Truth Movement in the eyes of the Truthers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but asymetrical always meant irregular or non-uniform. You're basically saying "random damage" can't bring down a building? Or does asymetrical suddenly mean symetrical? Or am I just unfamiliar with the troofer meaning of the word?

How is it "downright bizarre" when I can cite you 20 different cases of steel structured building collapses due to fire before 2001 alone?

You do know that columns are made of pieces that are at a maximum, 60 feet long, and bolted together, right? There are no solid steel pieces 600 feet long. How could you even make that? I suppose its possible if you have a giant smelting plant the size of an aircraft hanger... but then how do you transport something like that?

And I suppose you're gonna tell me that due to the "asymmetrical damage" none of these columns could have broken or lost pieces or anything.

Irony, satire, humor, speculation, does not compute in the troofer mind. Its why they believe this bunk in the first place. The only thing they understand is trolling on blogs to threaten violence (Arhoolie) or just plain arrogance (Brian Good, Boris Epstien) or self righteousness (Jon Gold).

Anything else is just egotistical masturbating for them.

But it really is funny, isn't it that Truthers are so paranoid about disinfo agents slipping in bullshit.

They actually do get worked up about the idea that people are paid to make up all kinds of stupid phoney beliefs that some of their members might think are true.

I can see what their problem is: there really is no easy way to distinguish between the nutty and the supernutty.

At 26 March, 2010 09:19, Blogger Billman said...

What exactly do the troofers think 9/11 was "staged" for? Because the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan haven't exactly worked out very well. We're still there, there's no extra oil coming out of those countries, and Bush and co. certainly aren't richer.... the U.S. isn't exactly controlling the world or Iran wouldn't exist right now. So what has been the big pay off for the government? Dylan Avery's title of his film implies it was done for "Loose Change" I.e. the "trillions" or "billions" of gold that was under the towers, thats already been debunked down to like, a few million. So Dylan should change the name of his film.

At 26 March, 2010 09:26, Blogger Billman said...

So, was it done for "put options" then? The Democrats control the house right now, so you can't say it was for Bush's side to get political power.

The only benefit I can see was that Bush got to invade Iraq and finish desposing Saddam. And that hasn't worked out very well at all, has it?

So troofers, seriously, what has been the benefits reaped by the NWO since they "staged" 9/11? Or was it just a huge clusterfuck that didn't turn out right, and only the "enlightened troofers" have been able to figure that out?

At 26 March, 2010 09:44, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Billman, is this the kind of logic that claims that Bushco didn't want to invade Iraq because it is now a mess? What kind of weird disconnected backwards reasoning is that?

Yup. A sense of humor requires the ability to recognize something as absurd. If Truthers could recognize the absurd, they wouldn't be truthers. Being a conspiracy believer and having a sense of humor are mutually exclusive.

Anonymous, I'm not trying to attack you, but do you seriously have a reading comprehension problem? Did I not just post that Bush invaded Iraq primarily for the purpose of deposing Saddam?

How else has it benefitted the NWO? Explain that to me. Because all I see is a war that's gone on 14 times longer that originally promised, has become increasingly unpopular, but we can't exactly just pull out and let someone like Iran will just invade the country...

How is this somehow connected to an inside jobby job on 9/11? Please explain my backwards thinking at not being able to link the two.

No. I think the description you posted is incredibly simple-minded.

For starters, the idea that "30 million Iraqis" all think or want any one thing is ridiculous. There are deep, deep divisions in that country, and there have been for a very long time. There's Shia vs. Sunni Islam, ethnic Kurds in the north who want autonomy, and a thousand regional conflicts with interwoven ethnic, religious and political meaning. At best, it's like trying to keep Yugoslavia together.

Statements like "liberating people" sound nice, and aren't entirely untrue -- Saddam Hussein was an evil bastard -- but they oversimplify it all. We're not returning the Iraqi people to a life they once had, lost, and have long yearned for. We're forcing them into a new life, a foreign, secular, western-style government they've never had before. And they're rightly suspicious, in light of the complex relationship the U.S. has had with Iraq over the years.

Was the invasion of Iraq the right thing to do? I dunno. I hope it turns out that it was. But after almost a decade of US involvement in Iraq, I think it's fair to say that the "freedom-loving Iraqi people" have mixed feelings about the whole thing.

Ah, the simple minded dark skinned people have no idea what's good for them.

"Statements like "liberating people" sound nice, and aren't entirely untrue -- Saddam Hussein was an evil bastard -- but they oversimplify it all."

Why?

"We're not returning the Iraqi people to a life they once had, lost, and have long yearned for."

That's why it's called "liveration".

"We're forcing them into a new life, a foreign, secular, western-style government they've never had before."

We've done it before.

" And they're rightly suspicious, in light of the complex relationship the U.S. has had with Iraq over the years."

Suspect away. all we wanna do is get the hell out of there.

"Was the invasion of Iraq the right thing to do? I dunno. I hope it turns out that it was. But after almost a decade of US involvement in Iraq, I think it's fair to say that the "freedom-loving Iraqi people" have mixed feelings about the whole thing."

It's called "hope". There is a better way of life that tribal despotism, and we are showing the way.
